Aurora Donate to Halo Children’s Foundation Charity

We’re very proud to share our recent visit to the Halo Children’s Foundation in Uxbridge, where we proudly presented a cheque of £6,194.88 to founder Alia Jones. Back in March 2023, we asked everyone at Aurora to suggest a charity for us to support in the South of England. Halo was suggested and voted for in the line up of suggested charities. The foundation’s Play Cafe and playrooms provide invaluable support to children facing grief, offering a safe haven for expression through art and play therapy. Witnessing the heartfelt artwork and “Forever Cushions” made from cherished clothing truly underscored the impact of the charity’s work.

Situated in The Chimes shopping centre, the foundation offers crucial resources such as bereavement support referrals, peer support groups, and a soft play area for local families. This donation, raised by the dedicated staff of Aurora and matched pound for pound by Aurora, aims to bolster their mission of community support.
